| Gryben: (n) a temporal enclave to which all unauthorised time capsules travelling within the time vortex were diverted, in order to be catalogued and questioned as to why they were in the vortex. There is something wrong in the skies above Gryben. There was a great clap of thunder, the heavens above and earth below shook, and when the panic died, a strange space station hung in orbit around the temporal enclave. Since its arrival, timestorms have become more frequent and much less a Time Lord directed venture than a very curious phenomena that is past, as of yet, even the Timelords to repair. These storms deposit both multiversal aliens and items on Gryben or on the station itself, but have, as of yet, not spread further. To make matters even more intriguing and possibly more troubling, sometimes the inhabitants of Gryben and those who dare come to the station flicker between one dimension and another, and are trapped in some sort of shadow state where they are not under their own volition. Sometimes they come back. Sometimes, they don't. |
